Salmalytics welcomes Jostein Mulder Pettersen as new employee

Salmalytics is pleased to announce the expansion of its team. On August 1st, Jostein Mulder Pettersen joined the company, taking on a full-time role focused on projects and the further development of the company. Jostein is a veterinarian with a PhD from NMBU in health economics and epidemiology. He joins Salmalytics from his position as a clinical researcher at PHARMAQ and has previously worked in research and advisory roles at PatoGen.

Jostein shared his thoughts on joining the team: “Given that Arnfinn was my supervisor during my PhD studies, we have previously collaborated effectively within relevant fields and methodologies. I am really excited about the opportunity to contribute to the further development of the company, and I am eager to get started.”

“Jostein brings experience, expertise, and a personality that aligns nicely with Salmalytics’ mission,” says CEO Arnfinn Aunsmo. “We are seeing a growing demand for services in areas where biology intersects with quantitative methods. Jostein’s solid background will allow him to make immediate contributions to our projects and assignments.”

Salmalytics was founded by Arnfinn Aunsmo in 2020, providing contract research and consulting services in the aquaculture sector. As part of the company’s expansion, a new website has been launched (www.salmalytics.no). Additionally, new office premises have been established at Adamstuen in Oslo, where Jostein will be based, while Arnfinn will continue to work from the Trondheim office.
